My family organised a trip to Waiheke Island to visit my step grandad on the days that I’m working :( I haven’t seen him since 2009 and I am closer with him than I am with my “real” grandad! :( :( :(
Woke up late and made a Responsible Adult Decision to pretend I’m sick and stay in bed all day. Except I couldn’t get through to work because I think their phone is broken so now I’m just another unreliable lazy Inghams worker. HOLY SHIT AMY WINEHOUSE DIED?!?!?

Dad keeps thrusting newborn orphaned lambs into my arms and saying “keep it alive”, so I’m sitting by the fire with lambs and bottles and towels trying to stop them from shivering and practically force-feeding them. I hate winter. If I save lambs, does it make up for killing chickens?

In the supermarket buying cocktail ingredients with my platonic guy friend when a dude notices the bruises all over my legs from work and starts making comments about my friend beating me and saying things like “she’s a good looking girl. I’m not telling you how to treat her or anything but…..” UM. WHAT?!?!!? I didn’t even know what to say.
