My brother telling me that I’ll never save enough money to travel because I smoke and it’s disgusting………… uhhh I have about $6000 saved at the moment and have smoked maybe one cigarette this month? I only smoke because it distracts me from wanting to cry.

a 26 hour powercut is not the fun, family-bonding experience you might expect. Too many hours of wine-fuelled pictionary followed by 8 hours of working in a loud chicken shed next to an even louder generator (while slightly hungover and sleep deprived). The power just came on and there’s candle wax on every surface imaginable and my parents are yelling at me. I want to not be alive.
